In 2006, after completing her sociology, she decided to pursue her life dream of becoming an Actress. In the same year she scored the role of Mia in Tv series Degrassi: The Next Generation alongside Drake. And in the same year she got her first movie Away from Her, a canadian film and she did a supporting Role. In 2007, she appeared in Music Video You Got That Light by Wade Allain-Marcus.
2009, became the turning point of her career when she got the Role Ellena and Katherine in supernatural drama TV series The Vampire Diaries. The show Turned out to be a humongous Success. Though after receiving huge fame, she left the show in 2015 and returned for the final Episode.
