Ingredients of Aloo Paneer Masala
2 tablespoon ghee
1 and 1/4 piece cinnamon stick
coriander leaves As required
2 and 3/4 teaspoon garlic paste
2 and 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
2 and 1/2 medium tomato
2 and 1/2 medium potato
1/4 cup and 3 teaspoon onion paste
1 and 1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 and 1/4 bay leaf
2 and 3/4 teaspoon ginger paste
3/4 teaspoon turmeric
2 teaspoon red chilli powder
salt As required
312 grams paneer
How to make Aloo Paneer Masala
Heat ghee in a pan/ kadhai, add cumin seeds, bay leaf, and cinnamon stick.
Cook for 1 minute and then add onion paste.
Cook for 2 more minutes and then add ginger and garlic paste.
Cook on medium flame till the liquid dries out.
Now, to the mixture, add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and 1 tbsp water.
Stir to mix well and Cook for 3 mins.
Add tomato puree and cook till oil leaves the masala.
Add potatoes and then season with salt.
Mix it well and then add 3 cups of water.
Cover the lid and then bring it to a boil.
Once the potatoes are cooked, add paneer cubes and cook for 5 more minutes.
Then turn off the gas flame.
Your Aloo Paneer masala is ready to serve.
Garnish it with some freshly chopped coriander leaves.

Ingredients for Aloo Paneer Tikki Recipe
Cottage Cheese 500 grams
Potatoes boiled and mashed 1 cup
Green chilli chopped 1
Salt to taste
Refined flour (maida) 1/2 cup
Gram flour (besan) 1/4 cup
Oil to shallow fry
Dried breadcrumbs 3 tablespoons
Fresh breadcrumbs 1 1/2 cups
Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon
Alfalfa sprouts a few
Thin strips of red capsicum a few
Put mashed potatoes in a bowl, add green chillies and salt and mix well.
With a deep cylindrical cutter cut cottage cheese into long cylinders. Further cut the cylinders into thick slices.
Mix together refined flour, gram flour and salt in another bowl. Add sufficient water and whisk to make a smooth and thick batter.
Heat sufficient oil in a non-stick pan.
Mix dried breadcrumbs and fresh breadcrumbs in a bowl.
Sprinkle a little salt and red chilli powder over the cottage cheese slices.
Spread a little flour batter over each cottage cheese slice.
Divide potato mixture into small equal balls.
Place one potato balls on one cottage cheese slice and cover with another slice and press slightly. Similarly prepare more sandwiches.
Spread the flour batter all around the sandwiches, roll them in breadcrumb mixture so that they are well coated.
Put them in the pan and shallow-fry, turning sides, till golden on both sides. Drain on absorbent paper.
Place them on a serving plate, garnish with alfalfa sprouts and thin strips of red capsicum and serve hot.
